Platform support and compatibility schedules

Aerospike provides Maintenance and Support for 2 years (24 months) effective immediately upon the release of a new Generally Available (GA) version of Aerospike Database, starting with 6.3. Maintenance and Support schedules for releases prior to 6.3 are described in the following table.

Maintenance and Support for Aerospike Database 6.2 ended on March 2, 2024. See Upgrading for instructions on moving to a later version.

Supported Linux versions

The following table lists the supported operating system (OS) versions for each Aerospike Database release. Aerospike will provide updated distributions in the form of patch releases to address security vulnerabilities in the underlying supported OS version, as long as the OS itself is still actively supported.

Client support

  1. Must have a kernel supporting 4K memory pages.
  2. RHEL 7 reached its End of Support (EOS) on June 30, 2024. Aerospike no longer produces el7 RPMs for Aerospike Database versions 6.1, 6.3 and 6.4. See link to KB for more information.
  3. For Aerospike Database 6.3 or later, we support x86_64 and aarch64 unless specifically noted otherwise (for example, Debian 10).
